Real Food, Real Habits, Real Change

A supportive membership for women over 60 ready to steady their blood sugar, simplify the kitchen, and build confidence in their health — one small step at a time.

You’ve spent decades cooking for others: your family, your husband, your kids, your grandkids… Now it’s time to come back to the kitchen — for you.

If your blood sugar numbers are creeping up, if you’ve been told you’re prediabetic or diabetic, or if you’re simply frustrated and want to feel strong, confident, and in control again… pull up a chair.

Welcome to Kitchen Table Talk — a supportive membership community designed for women over 60 who are ready to turn food, habits, and lifestyle into tools for lasting health.

Inside, you’ll find clear guidance, simple strategies, and a circle of women who understand what you’re going through — because they’re walking the same path. Together, you’ll discover how to steady your numbers, enjoy your meals again, and build the confidence to live fully.

Why I Created Kitchen Table Talk

For years, I’ve watched too many women over 60 be told: “That’s just aging. It’s normal.” Or handed a prescription slip with little more explanation. And it broke my heart — because I know it doesn’t have to be this way.

I created Kitchen Table Talk to give women like you something we’ve been missing: a place where food, health, and confidence come together. A place where you can learn what’s really happening in your body, how to nourish it without confusion, and how to build habits that keep you strong, steady, and independent

Why you can trust me.

I’m Anne Bernardin — a Certified Diabetes Prevention Coach, Nutrition Educator, and lifelong home cook.

  • I’ve taught nutrition and cooking in classrooms.

  • I’ve owned a weight loss center, guiding women through real change.

  • And I’ve lived with type 1 diabetes for decades, which has given me a front-row seat to how much food truly matters.

This isn’t theory for me — it’s my life’s work and my daily practice.

Why I’m the Right Guide for You.

I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by conflicting advice, to wonder if the best years of health are behind you. But I also know the incredible strength, resilience, and wisdom women bring to the table at this stage of life.

That’s why I built Kitchen Table Talk to feel less like a classroom and more like a supportive gathering around a friend’s kitchen table. Here, you’ll find:

Clear, practical guidance you can use today.

A community of women who “get it.”

Encouragement and accountability so you don’t have to do this alone.

Together, we’ll make food your ally, habits your foundation, and health something you feel confident about again.

So pull up a chair — your apron’s waiting.

Kitchen Table Talk is your safe, inspiring space to learn exactly how to use food, lifestyle, and your kitchen to take charge of your health — without overwhelm, without confusion, and without giving up the joy of living well.

This membership exists...

Because too many women over 60 are told, “That’s just aging. It’s normal.”
Because you deserve better than “Just take this pill.”
Because you’re not giving up your independence, your energy, or your vibrant life without a fight. So instead of feeling dismissed, you'll feel informed. Instead of confusion in the kitchen, you'll feel confident. Instead of fearing decline, you'll feel strong and steady.

Here, we take back control with:

Nutrition science you can actually understand

Kitchen strategies that work for you NOW

Lifestyle habits that keep you strong, steady, and vibrant

A community of women walking the same road

A Step-by-Step Path From Frustration to Confidence

The Recipe for Real Change: Your Success Plan

We don’t throw you into a pile of recipes and wish you luck. Instead, we guide you through five clear stages — with lessons, resources, and community support — so you can make progress without overwhelm.

Every member follows the same recipe, step by step, so you always know what comes next.

Stage 1: Simmer — Finding Your Starting Point
Slow down, take stock, and clear the noise. Learn where you are, what you need most, and how to take your first small wins.
Example: One member started here confused about carb counts. Within two weeks, she learned how to balance her breakfast and felt her mid-morning crashes disappear.

 .

Stage 2: Prep — Understand Your Body & Blood Sugar
Discover how food, movement, sleep, and stress work together to affect your numbers, energy, and weight. Learn the kitchen basics for meals that stabilize, not spike.
Example: Another member realized late-night snacking was spiking her fasting numbers. By prepping protein-rich evening snacks, she finally woke up to steadier mornings.

Stage 3: Stir — Building Skills & Habits
Practice smart swaps, try new flavors, and add gentle movement, better rest, and simple stress resets that fit your life now.
Example: At this stage, a member swapped her nightly pasta for zucchini noodles twice a week. Small change — big result: her energy and confidence soared.

Stage 4: Savor — Living Your New Normal
Enjoy your meals, your health, and your daily routine with confidence. Meal planning feels easy, cooking is simpler, and your body responds with more energy and steadier numbers.
Example: A member who once dreaded cooking now prepares three balanced meals each week without stress — and her A1C dropped by a full point.

Stage 5: Serve — Sharing the Wins
You’ve got the knowledge and habits — now you can inspire others and continue living fully, without fear of diabetes controlling your life.
Example: One member now shares her meal-prep tips with her sister — turning her own success into a gift for someone else.
